Customer Payment without Invoice

Hello All,

We are doing the migration for one of our client from their legacy system using web services. We entered the opening balances as on Dec 31st 2006 and then migrated all the transactions (PO, Bill, SO, Invoice, Customer Payments, Customer Credit memo, Journal Entries). As the Bill Payment webservice is not available, it will be done manually.

We have customer payments in Jan, Feb 2007 which are for the invoices of year 2006. When we try to enter the customer payment without invoice, NetSuite does not allow us to do so.  Is there any way where we can enter the customer payments without invoices? or any other alternative available?
