Vendor items database integration with Netsuite - experiences? solutions?

I'm looking for a solution, either custom or packaged. I have a feeling I'm not the first one to do this.

I have several vendors who offer online ordering systems. I know one for certain has the ability to allow integration for pulling item information, PO, drop shipping, etc. The others are still somewhat new, but are database driven with online ordering systems, so I imagine implementation will not be overly difficult. through APIs.

What I would like to do:
- import vendor item information (part number, vendor part number, description, pictures, pricing, etc)
- sort vendors in order of preference per item and/or price
