Items on SO become out of order / reorganized / shuffled

I am currently having a problem in which the inventory items on my Sales Order are somehow getting out of order. While entering the Sales Order everything appears fine. Then at some point all the items become out of order. The problem occurs sporadically and I have a number of SuiteScripts running, so it is very hard to determine exactly when or why the problem is happening (I would consider disabling SuiteScripts but I don't have an exact formula to replicate the issue).

All my calls to nlapiSetCurrentLineItemValue use:
firefieldchanged = true
synchronous = true

Has anyone encountered this problem before or have any ideas of what could be going wrong? There is no API call to reorder items, but the items are somehow reorder with all associated values correct (quantity, price level, unit price, etc..)
