Attach file to email in user event script

I think this is easy but I can't figure it out... I've got an attached document to every invoice, it's not the pdf of the invoice, it's a custom pdf that is different for every invoice.

I need to attach this pdf to an email in my script, I can't figure out how to get this file to turn into an object that can be attached in my nlapiSendEmail.

Can anyone help?
