Script Request - Alert Warning when fulfilling less than total amount committed.

edited Dec 2, 2019 5:55PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

I am in need of a script developer to write a function that pops up an alert warning on the "item fulfillment" screen for an order when the amount being fulfilled is less than the current qty committed.

The problem im having is while using the bar code scanning method of adding items to a fulfillment, if the warehouse shipper makes an error and only pulls 1 of the qty 3 of a part number, and scans it out without noticing the qty discrepancy, the order will leave incomplete.

I would like for a pop up alert window to pop up and say "are you sure you want to partially fulfill less than the total committed number of items for this fulfillment?" and the shipper can either say "yes, override" or "no, go back"

Howdy, Stranger!
