Add discount item to cart
I am trying to add a discount item to the cart based on a custom field in the item record.
The logic is that if there is a discount item on the custom field on the item record, it should get added to the cart.
I have a client script attached to the custom form attached to the web site.
recalc: function(type, action) { if (action === 'commit') addSeasonalDiscount(type, action); }, When the script try to add the discount item, it throws an error stating,
Posting Discounts are not allowed on lines with Revenue Recognition Schedules.
The discount attached to the item is a non-posting discount.
