Redirects
Just wondering if anyone can help here.
I am doing some work on my new site and a few pages are going to be deleted as they are very out of date and do not fit with the new structure.
So i thought the way round this, website redirects. Its a very commonly held belief that any content you move or remove on a website needs to have a 301 redirect so that search engine spiders can find its new or moved location.
I created a redirect pointing the old location to the new but it seems not to redirect? I have changed the display settings on the actual item, changing it to inactive etc but it sill seems to be not working.
