Descriptive urls + redirects
I am wanting to move some content on my site and remove some superceded pages.
As I am not currently using descriptive urls but have been informed by support that the only way that i can redirect a url such as:
http://www.nu-heat.co.uk/s.nl/it.I/id.231/.f?sc=7&category=34
is to switch on descriptive urls and then add a url component to that item which will allow it to be converted to a descriptive url then move it.
I don't want to switch on descriptive urls for all my site items so can anyone confirm that by switiching it on all urls stay the same and they only change when I add the component in?
