Dynamic Redirect URL

When a shopper completes their check out, I want to redirect the user back to the external site but I want to pass a few order specific parameters in the URL. In Web Store setup, you can only specify a static URL. Any ideas on how I may be able to construct the URL dynamically and override the static URL under setup?
