Google Analytics on WSDK site

Howdy,

We run a site that uses NS only for the shopping cart, the rest is all WSDK.  Has anyone gotten a site like this to work with adwords/analytics tracking? 
I have tried to follow the google instructions for setting up a 3rd party shopping cart, but the problem seems to be that I am "losing" my data whenever someone enters the cart.

Is there a way to preserve the tracking trail throughout the shopping cart? 

We used to do this by adding the google code to each step of the shopping cart (old cart), but I don't see how I can add that to NS, since the cart seems pretty much un-customizable, script-wise.
