External website - Suggestions Please

We are considering starting a second website and developing it outside of Netsuite. We want to tie it into Netsuite using their API.

Anyone have someone they used for a project like this? If yes, please PM me their contact information.

We are weighing the external site versus just getting another Netsuite hosted site.

Reasons for the external site - It might be nice to be able to do a few things Netsuite does a poor job on like coupons options and free ship on single items and minor features like reviews that we won't have to pay extra for as they are easy enough to program or already available in low cost shopping carts.
