Pass Custom Price through Add to Cart

Anyone have ideas for passing a custom price (it is determined through calculations on the site for custom furniture) through the Add to Cart button so that we can integrate a site with NS? It won't pass through the URL as far as I know, but I'm wondering if anyone has a creative idea?
