Search Portlet Issues

Another question about searches.

When you make a search from our front page (www.bestamericanarts.com), the search results display in our "about us" tab by default...

How can I make it so every time you search our site, the results appear in our "shop" tab instead.  I assume it is defaulting to "about us - our mission" because that is our first tab/catagory.
