Featured "Category Product" Can it be done???

Hello All,

I am trying to build some new item/category templates and I would would like to have a "Featured Product" at the top of each "Category Page" check out the static page I built outside of NetSuite to get my layout right before trying to shoe horn the design into NetSuite. http://www.corsoscookies.net/site-07/Category-Page.html

What I am looking for is to have the title of the featured product and the image link to the actual Item page.

Currently I have the Name of the product on the "Brief Description" of the Category Page with the href hard coded in.
