Add-ons to CRM+?

Anyone with experience starting with CRM+ (or CRM), then customizing with Add-ons (specifically Adv Site Customization)? 

We have a NS-hosted website, but are bumping into limitations:  HTML capabilities, modifying themes, etc., which might be helped with an add-on vs. upgrading to full NS, much of which is not needed, since we run acctg & billing functions on a different system. 

The product comparison sheet suggests that this is available as an add-on, however our (new) Sales Rep told us "With the CRM+ version of NetSuite, there are no additional modules available at this time."
