Server Side Include Tag - How to pull URL from from Custom Item field

I hope someone can help. 

I'm trying to use the server side include tag <%=include(URL)%> where the URL is to be pulled from a Custom Item Field.  Has anyone done this and if so could you provide an example.  This tag will be placed somewhere within the Item Drilldown template.
