Multi-Language Translations and Custom Fields
We need to create some custom fields for our eCommerce site to drive different content experiences. Our site utilizes NetSuite's multi-language features for translation.
When we create a new custom field, the only translation you get is the label. We need to create content for each language for our custom field.
We see two approaches to solve this:
1. Create multiple fields for each language: we create a field naming convention that helps us figure out which language we are referencing.
2. We create a custom translation table to hold all of our custom fields. Each row in the table represents a specific language and each column represents a custom field.
