Custom Domain with One Page Checkout

Has anyone ever implemented Custom Domain with One Page Checkout? We are trying to implement Google Trusted Stores and it requires our domain to stay the same throughout the entire shopping experience. This requires the Custom Domain feature.  We currently use NetSuite's multi-site functionality so One Page Checkout is on one Site and the Custom Domain would also start out on only this one site. 

I am looking for any guidance on the pitfuls of implementing Custom Domain itself as well as implementing with One Page Checkout implemented as well.
