Post from web form to suitelet

I have a very simple web form hosted in Netsuite that I'd like to use to post to a suitelet.  What's the easiest way to go about doing this?

I tried using jQuery AJAX post method but the request never hits the backend suitelet and my web console shows "an error occurred trying to load the resource".  I'm assuming this is a cross domain issue?
