adding custom text fields
I'm working on my first NetSuite theme and need some help. Our site is going to be available in multiple languages.
Since I cannot edit the cart summary portlet to my satisfaction, I customized the template code to display the cart in my "logo and tabs template" as
<NLCARTITEMCOUNT> item(s) in <a href="<%=getCartUrl()%>">shopping cart</a>
This works as desired -- in English. My problem is that the "item(s) in shopping cart" text is hard-coded into the template, so it doesn't translate. How can I create custom text fields in NS so that I can use that instead?
