Dynamic List based on Item.
I want to add custom field “Product Family” to a case. This field is a list, but I want to “source” the field from standard built in list of Items. Our items have a structure of
<Product 1>
Item 1
Item 2
Item 3
<Product 2>
Item 1
Item 2
I want my “Product Family” drop down to only show values of
<Product 1>
<Product 2>
I thought it would be a simple process of making “Product Family” custom field that is sourcing from Item and apply filter of <“Sub-Item of” is none> to the list. I have not been able to do that as “Sub-Item of” field not available during custom field creation from Item nor is my save search visible.
