Custom Date Field With Calculation to Subtract Days
For a sales order, I created a custom date field (Ship Date) that subtracts three days from a different custom date field (Customer Request Date). Our average ship time is three days, so we want to notify the warehouse (via pick list) to ship the item three days before the customer wants it.
This works great, except with the new Ship Date lands on a weekend. Is there a function that would tell when the new Ship Date lands on a Sat/Sun and automatically adjusts that date to the prior Friday?
