Find Matching Transactions View

I am not sure if it is just the way we are set up but when I go to find matching transactions I only get a date, type, number and amount but no vendor! My tech guys enter items in and the numbers are always wrong(usually a shipping issue) so I end up with new transactions I create when I download and the old one with a slightly different number because I did not see the vendor when I was matching. Help!
