Problem with commissions on profitability
I think I *may* have found a problem with commissions calculated on profitability, at least it's a problem for us.
This stuff can be difficult to explain, but I will try my best.
I'll discuss one single product, "WidgetA"

We purchase WidgetA for $275

We sold WidgetA for $515.31

We were PAID $412.25 (80% of the transaction total)
I have a commission schedule setup to pay 33% of the inventory profit based on collection.
Given the details above I would calculate 33% of the profit (based on collection) to be:
(collection - cost) * 33%
OR
(412.25 - 275.00) * .33 = $45.29
NetSuite sees things differently. It appears to be taking the percentage of collection to billed and applying it to everything, including cost.
