Commissions Overview Report Broken

Note: This will impact anyone who has developed their invoicing system to allow the creation of a single invoice from multiple Sales Orders.
Netsuite's roadmap includes the ability to create a single invoice from multiple SO's (high priority feature), but for those who have already taken it upon themselves to implement this WILL not be able to get any visibility into the Commission Overview Report. (It generates "Error on this report...")
About 6-8 months ago, they told us after reviewing our code that the commissions overview report will never work for us because of our invoicing system.
They said it wasn't a defect, and it was "as designed." Of course this could be fixed with a few lines of code that exclude the source sales order # (or pick the earliest SO value).
