Inventory Adjustment Security

Is there any way I can restrict a user role or user to do inventory adjustment if the value of total adjustment crosses Say $500.

I would like any user to do inventory adjustment if the value is below $500 but above that, another user with a different role should be able to do that.

Is that Possible?
