Units of Measure / Drop Ship Purchase Order
Business case:
Customer purchases 3 cases of garland. Each case contains 4 garland.
The customer has purchased 12 garland. We need to create a drop ship PO.
The inventory item is set as:
-Inventory Item
-Units Type Box of xx / base unit is Box of 1
-Stock Units = Box of 1
-Purchase units = Box of 1
-Sale Units = Box of 4
I thought the drop ship PO would automatically convert the 3 cases of garland to 12 garland (3 cases x 4 per case). It did not do this, it created the drop ship PO with 3 cases of Box of 4.
Any thoughts?
