Vendor Name/Code

Hi All,

Have an interesting and perplexing issue that i hope someone can shed some light on.  When you do an inventory item you have Item Name/Number,  Display Name/Code and Vendor Name/Code.  The curious thing is that even though each of those allows for 60 characters if we're over 12 on the Vendor Name/Code and create a PO it gives an error ( but allows us to proceed anyways ) of: "you have exceeded the length limit for this field. Please shorten your entry by 4 characters."

An example of that part number is something as "Shipping & Handling".

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
