Inventory Adjustment Unit Cost Concerns

edited Nov 26, 2019 8:40AM in Accounting / ERP 11 comments

I have observed that when creating a new standard Inventory Adjustment that the system does not allow you to specify the unit cost when performing a negative quantity adjustment. In addition to this, the system rounds the unit cost to the nearest hundredth of the location's average cost rather than using the cost with 4 or 5 decimal places as it is shown on the item record. (We are using average costing method).

This in itself is not a huge deal, but it is feasible that if I were to adjust out all remaining quantity in a location to 0 then the total value of the item would not equal $0.00

Howdy, Stranger!
