Inventory Changes :: One Item to Many Items
We are getting into the Beef Business and we want to track the Cow from time of purchase, through growth, to slaughter, then to Cold Storage and sale to clients. Here's my dilemma ::
We are tracking each Cow, individually, because we want to offer a "whole cow" purchase and allow our clients to "Track the growth of their Cow". It's kind of like the "Child Sponsorship" programs of some relief/aid organizations.
How would y'all suggest I turn one single cow (Non-Inventory Item for sale) into a Package or Kit of a bunch of cuts (Sirloin, T-Bone, etc.)?
If I can't come up with an automated way, it can be done manually...
