Rename Matrix Parent
Anyone tried it? Am I heading down a bad path?
It seems to work if I:
Edit the Parent Item
Change its Item Name/Number
Choose Update Matrix (there's no Save button for the parent item)
Unmark All (because I don't want to change the Item Numbers of the children).
Submit (mass update says 1 updated (I assume the parent) and xx failed )
I go back to the parent it's name is changed, everything else looks the same.
I go to a child, SUBITEM OF is new parent, everything else same (Name, Display name, etc.) which is what I want.
Why, you ask? Basically, I want to standardize the matrix options for my items and you can't add a matrix option (list) to an existing parent.
