Stale Auth resolve

We have been with Netsuite 2 years and we are looking for someone who would be willing to share best practices around Stale Authurization management. We sell a mixture of Instock, Drop Ship, and Long lead time products. (Often on a single order).  After researching the issues we have come to these 3 standing problems. 1) Stale Auth = back orders ship and the credit cards fail due to old auth during billing 2) Internal Labor to reconcile daily credit card issues is becoming very costly 3) Double auth issues when customer uses Debit Cards (as credit cards).
