RecordRef Confusion/Getting Employee Information
I have been reading up on Netsuite's web services for a week and I just want to ask/confirm some of my thoughts. Using an ETL tool I was able to retrieve all the Employee's FirstName, LastName, Email, etc... but some of the fields like Department and Supervisor returned "com.netsuite.webservices.platform.core.RecordRef@#######". I want to get the actual values for those fields and not address of the value (I am guessing that is what the @###### is). I read that I need to do a getSelectValue in order to get these values. Is this correct? Or is there another way to get these values?
