Zen Cart Netsuite Integration

I will be setting up a Joomla-Zen Cart - Netsuite Ecommerce website and am wondering if there are any tutorials (as step-by-step as possible) that would go through either specifically the Zen Cart - NetSuite Integration process, or that of other cart systems with NetSuite.

Product prices will be stored in the zen cart database, along with other customer information, so the data in the database will need to be integrated with Netsuite. Are there commonly used structures for this whole cms-cart-erp integration process?

I know there's a new standard replacing subXML (not sure what it's called) that should be used to move the data from database to Netsuite. If anyone knows of resources in the form of people, online reading, or books, (or at least specific parts of the NetSuite documentation to page through if there's no quickstart guide for beginners), please let me know.
