Best way to get a report

What is the best way to get a report.  Currently I have a shipping report sent to me daily, but I want to automate it, which I could do through FTP.  From what I am seeing FTP access may not be available at NetSuite,  So my question is can I have a report saved so that I can accesses this daily report through an FTP type of system or network so I can automate the process.  Thanks guys.
