Retreiving the Custom Entity for the Customer Using Java Web Services

I am newbie to Web Services, I Had Created Custom Entity Fields in the NetSuite, I want to Know How these Fields Can be Retreived.
I am Able to pull the Customer related datam, but i could not be able to pull the custom enity field data. I want to Know how this can be done.
Do i need to define methods for the created custom fields in the concerned web service java files i.e the generated java files??
