Java Development Environment.

I am looking for anyone who might be able to provide instructions on how to set up the proper development environment on Fedora 16 to develop with SuiteTalk for Java. I have gone as far as installing Apache Server & Tomcat at this point however I'm not having much luck with AXIS. My release of Fedora 16 is i686 x32 which seems to be the most stable of all the distros I have been using lately. Could someone offer help or suggestions on the development environment for SuiteTalk?
