Only one request may be made against a session at a time

Can someone please help me with this. How do I terminate the session so I can allow users to log in again when I get the error:

"Only one request may be made against a session at a time"

I cannot use the service.LogOut method to kill the session because I get the error "Only one request may be made against a session at a time"
