Assembly/BOMs and Kit/Packages fulfilled from different locations

We are selling assemblies, consisting of several items that reside in separate locations, as a configured product in our webstore. We have tried using Assembly/BOMs and Kit/Package item types but there doesn't seem to be a way to enter multiple (different dimensioned) packages and weights, or locations. Is there a way to have Netsuite calculate shipping for multiple items in an assembly from multiple locations, and have inventory allocated and shipped, or must all the fulfillment for this type of sales be done manually?
