Subsidiary-Specific Auto-Generated Employee Numbers

How do I set up a subsidiary-specific auto-generated employee number? E.g. Subsidiary A would use EMP001 for Employee Number, and Subsidiary B would use B01 for Employee Number.

The current set up in the system is such that there is no Document Number Prefix for any of the subsidiaries. In Setup > Company > Auto-Generated Numbers > Employee Entity has a EMP as prefix.
