How do you handle material requests?
Hello, we sometimes sell custom engineering items that we call "CUSTOM TOOL" that is just a standard non inventory item on the sales order.
-When people need items from inventory (like fasteners or fuses) to build this CUSTOM TOOL they hand into inventory an excel spreadsheet with the list of items they need.
-Then the inventory manager has to do an inventory adjustment to adjust these items out of inventory.
Is there a better way to handle this using Netsuite?
It would be great if in the employee center they could enter in the request for items and then the inventory manager can pick the items and mark the request complete and have the inventory reduced.
