Customer has fx aging balance needing to be cleared with JE, throws an error saying that elimination

Hello!

The accounting team in attempting to clear a balanced on an intercompany customer account. The intent was to just use a standard JE and move the balance to the FX Gain/Loss account, but when attempting to use the intercompany customer to clear the balance it throws and error and states that it needs to be eliminated.

Is there a work around to this?
