Staying Connected During the Holidays

SuiteSolution (Advanced Approval) Bundle Workflow Assistance

  1. We installed the Advanced Approval Bundle into our SB account.
  2. Natively this bundel uses the current user as the employee to process the approval workflow.  Our challenge is that many times the person entering the PO (User) is not the approval flow needed. For example an admin enters a PO for a Project Manager.  We need to edit the workflow to change the Created by (Native) to the employee field on the PO.
  3. The workflow locks after approval.  Our challenge here is that the majority of the time the employee on the PO needs to revise, the PO and since the workflow is locked the edit button is not available except to an Admin.  We need to create a new button on the Approved stated (Revise), a new Action = when Revise is selected with the condition that the item amount is changed the state changes to State 0 (or the initial state with the edit and submit buttons) and approval status changes to Pending Approval.
