Can I search Item and Account Dropdown Lists on Transactions?

When I write a check, I'm able to start typing in the account field and have account suggestions pop up (screenshot below)

However, if I'm creating a journal entry, entering a bill, or pretty much any other transaction I can think of, I have to scroll through a dropdown list of my entire chart of accounts to find the one I want. Can I make all Account fields act like the Write Checks account field? Can I make Item fields work like that as well? It would save a lot of time to be able to type a partial account or item name and choose the one I want off a short list compared to scrolling down long item and account dropdown
