Mass reorganizing of SiteBuilder nested Site Categories
I'm working with approximately 10,000 Site Category records that are structured as below:
- Parent Category X
- Fractional X
- 1/2"
- [1/2" items]
- 1/8"
- [1/8" items]
- 1/64"
- 1/32"
- 1/2"
- Numerical X
- A
- Z
- B
- Fractional X
There are many different Parent Categories like the above.
My issue is with the innermost categories like "1/2, 1/8, A, B" not being displayed in alphabetical or increasing numerical order like this:
- Parent Category X
- Fractional X
- 1/64"
- 1/32"
- 1/8"
- 1/2"
- Numerical X
- A
- B
- Z
- Fractional X
From what I can tell, the only way to reorganize them is by manually rearranging the Site Category on hundreds of records. The other thing I tried was modifying the Category List Layout to Sort By: Name, rather than Sequence. Although this does change the order of categories, they still don't go in Alphabetical order.
