Create client script to disable discount for gift certificate items

I need to create a client script for sales order to disable all the discount and promotion fields for gift certificate sold. As sales person adds gift certificate item in sales order, all fields from where discount (eg rate, coupon code) is allowed should be disable.

Any example and assistance would be greatly appreciated . Thanks!
