Discrepancy in Budget and Actual balances accumulated by Custom Segment “Product” on Budget vs Actua
Dear Community,
We have faced the following issue trying to compare the budget vs actual figures. (Release 2020.1)
A Custom Segment PRODUCT has been created and applied to Record types : Journals and Budget Imports.
The Budget has been uploaded using the custom Segment “Product” as a dimension on the revenue accounts.
Rev Rec Journal entry has been created automatically from Advanced Revenue recognition. Custom Segment “Product” has been processed on the Journal line level on the Revenue GL accounts.
The Budget vs Actual report has been customized by adding the Custom Segment “Product” as a Column from field area Budget and field area Financials in order to compare budget and financial balances.
1
