Add permissions to an existing user

I have a team member who actually has 2 roles one is a salesperson for a specific area and the other role is Sales operation for another area. He is currently set up as a salesperson and in this role is limited to viewing and updating only his customers data.

We would like to add additional permissions to allow him access to his region's sales data, that is, his entire team data. Not the other regions. How can this be done?
