We are located in the state of Delaware, a state that does not charge sales tax. However we are required to collect sales tax from the nearby surrounding states, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland.
We allow clients to pick up orders at our office. If we do not ship the order to the client we are not required to charge them sales tax.
Is there a way to associate our address at our office with a shipping item ex. in store pick up?
So that when the shipping method of in store pick up is selected for a Sales Order/Cash Sale/Invoice sales tax will not be charged even if the bill to/ship to are in another state. Maybe through location settings? i read the help but can't find the scenario listed above.
