How to submit record after field is changed in the UI

edited Jul 17, 2020 4:57PM in Ask A Guru 5 comments

Hi,

I am updating transactional record by looping them through and settings values by pageinit

  • Load Record in the UI
  • Update fields
  • Save Record
  • Load next record in UI

unfortunately the above is only possible in UI as we need to force the subsidiary field to be editable because we need to move data from one subsidiary into another.

I am looking for a way that I can submit the record after a field have been changed

This needs to be done by scripting otherwise I need to manually push the submit button for 10k+ records

any solution is fine also if it requires jQuery (I know it official not allowed)

Kindly click "Yes" on "Did this answer the question?" if you find the reply on your thread helpful. This will aid the others with the same question to easily find the correct answer. Thank you!
